L'UNCTAD (Conférence des Nations Unies sur le Commerce et le Développement) a lancé aujourd'hui le Rapport sur le Commerce et le Développement 2024, appelant à une reconsidération fondamentale des stratégies de développement face à un ralentissement mondial et à une montée du mécontentement social.

Nous appelons à une réforme de l'architecture financière internationale par la relance du dynamisme financier et commercial pour les pays en développement.»

L'économie mondiale devrait croître de seulement 2,7 % pour 2024 et 2025. C'est nettement inférieur au taux que nous avions à l'ère pré-pandémique.»

Comme nous l'avons déjà dit, les pays font face à des choix impossibles entre le service de la dette et l'investissement dans le développement et la transformation économique.»
