Le porte-parole des droits de l'homme de l'ONU, Thameen Al-Kheetan, a fait le commentaire suivant sur le meurtre de journalistes à Gaza lors du point de presse bihebdomadaire.
“Le meurtre de journalistes à Gaza doit cesser, doit choquer le monde. Non pas dans un silence stupéfait, mais dans une action, exigeant responsabilité et justice,” a-t-il déclaré.
“Nous pouvons dire que l'armée israélienne aurait lancé plusieurs frappes aériennes sur le complexe médical Nasser. Et il y a eu deux frappes aériennes, en, en une courte période de temps,” a-t-il affirmé.
“C'est un choc, et c'est inacceptable. Nous savons que l'armée israélienne a annoncé qu'il y aura une enquête, cet incident et le meurtre de tous les civils, y compris les journalistes, doivent être, minutieusement et indépendamment enquêtés, et la justice doit suivre,” a déclaré le porte-parole.
“Nous avons vu et documenté de nombreuses attaques contre des journalistes, qui sont inacceptables. Au moins 247 journalistes palestiniens ont été tués à Gaza depuis le 7 octobre 2023. Ces journalistes sont les yeux et les oreilles du monde entier. Et ils doivent être protégés,” a déclaré le porte-parole du Bureau des droits de l'homme de l'ONU, Thameen Al-Kheetan.
