TESTIMONIO (HINDI) Roshni Perween Activista Prevención del matrimonio infantil:“Intenté detener el matrimonio de niños en mi aldea, ya que yo misma soy víctima del matrimonio infantil, he sufrido y soportado este dolor, así que entiendo de qué se trata. Este dolor me convirtió en una activista social, así que en el futuro el trabajo que haga debería ser para prevenir
tal sufrimiento y dolor en otros, para que nadie más sufra lo mismo.”

Los adultos ya ocupan todos los espacios en la sociedad, en todos los niveles, como aquí (sala de Naciones Unidas), aquí no hay niños. Así que creé un movimiento de niños, para niños, donde somos protagonistas y podemos alzar nuestra voz.”

Y aún estando aquí y pudiendo continuar mi trabajo con buena salud mental y con el mismo impulso y entusiasmo que tenía es una gran bendición.”

Y si necesitamos ver cómo podemos caminar hacia un futuro mejor, necesitamos seguir el liderazgo de estos jóvenes y ser tan valientes como ellos.”

Muchos de mis colegas, mis amigos, especialmente los jóvenes Rohingya, trabajan juntos colectivamente en dos temas principales. Uno es empoderar a nuestra propia comunidad. Luego, el segundo objetivo principal es hacer abogacía por la vida, la libertad y la seguridad del pueblo Rohingya.”

No puedes desanimarte, tienes que seguir empujando a la gente, hasta que seas una masa crítica de personas que sirven a la comunidad, y el cambio que deseas llegará.”

“Quand je vois des jeunes originaires du monde entier qui sont comme moi, qui sont
convaincus que leur lutte porte, alors je me dis que oui, il faut continuer à porter le message.
Il ne faut pas décourager il faut continuer à pousser les gens, jusqu’à vous soyez une masse
critique de personnes qui servent la communauté et il y aura le changement que vous
souhaitez.”

“Después de la sesión, una joven se me acercó y me dijo: ‘Me das suficiente energía para los próximos cinco años.’ Me alegró el día, casi lloro. Imaginen que si cinco personas más en la sala se sintieran igual, ¿qué más podría querer? ¡Tendré cinco activistas más por otros cinco años!”
