إحاطة الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان من قبل أجيث سنغاي حول غزة
تحدث أجيث سونغاي، الذي يرأس مكتب حقوق الإنسان التابع للأمم المتحدة في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، بعد زيارة إلى غزة الأسبوع الماضي. في خان يونس، التقى بأشخاص فروا من منازلهم للجوء إلى مخيمات مكتظة بالسكان ومؤقتة.
“في رفح، رأيت أشخاص نزحوا بأمر من السلطات الإسرائيلية لمغادرة منازلهم، دون توفير سكن لهم، يعيشون حرفياً في الشارع، مع تدفق الصرف الصحي في الشوارع وظروف يائسة تؤدي إلى انهيار كامل في النظام”، أضاف سونغاي.
“وحتى في وسط كل هذا، تواصل منظمات حقوق الإنسان والإغاثة الإنسانية، شركاؤنا في غزة، عملهم الشجاع، محاولين التأكد من توثيق انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان بشكل صحيح ومواصلة الاستجابة الإنسانية - حتى وهم يعيشون أنفسهم في حالة انهيار”، قال.
خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية، شهدنا هجمات متواصلة، بما في ذلك على المرافق الطبية والمدارس في خان يونس، ومرافق الأمم المتحدة، بالإضافة إلى المناطق السكنية.
“الأشخاص الذين تحدثت إليهم يخشون أن تنتقل العنف المتطرف إلى رفح - مما سيكون له تداعيات كارثية على أكثر من 1.3 مليون شخص مزدحمين بالفعل هناك”، حذر سونغاي.
تستمر القصف من قبل قوات الدفاع الإسرائيلية في مناطق تم تعيينها من جانب واحد كمناطق “آمنة”، بما في ذلك المواسي في غرب خان يونس.
“بعد أن شهدت شخصياً وسمعت شهادات الذين تحملوا الكثير من الألم والمعاناة، أشعر بقلق شديد جداً. أخشى أن يموت المزيد من المدنيين. ستقتل الهجمات المستمرة على المرافق المحمية بشكل خاص، مثل المستشفيات، المدنيين، وسيكون لها تأثير ضخم آخر على الوصول إلى الرعاية الصحية والسلامة والأمان بشكل عام للفلسطينيين”، قال سونغاي.
شدد سونغاي على ضرورة وقف الاستخفاف بالقانون الدولي. يجب أن ينتهي العنف. يجب تقديم المساعدة الإنسانية دون عراقيل لجميع الذين يحتاجون إليها.
طالب مكتب حقوق الإنسان التابع للأمم المتحدة مراراً بوقف فوري لإطلاق النار، والإفراج عن الرهائن، وضرورة وجود حل سياسي يحترم ويضمن حقوق جميع الفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين.
