Et ce chiffre, qui est la dernière évaluation conjointe de la Banque mondiale, de l'Union européenne et des Nations Unies, pourrait encore augmenter.

Des centaines de milliers d'emplois ont été perdus depuis 2023, et le chômage aujourd'hui est sans précédent : plus de 90 % de la population en âge de travailler n'a pas d'emploi. Aujourd'hui, le PIB par habitant de Gaza équivaut à 0,58 USD par personne et par jour, tandis que les niveaux de prix sont 274 % plus élevés qu'en 2022.
