Les humanitaires de l'ONU travaillant au Soudan déchiré par la guerre ont averti vendredi des besoins dramatiques croissants parmi les plus de 100 000 personnes déplacées qui se réfugient actuellement dans des camps dans la ville d'El Obeid. "Nous ne fournissons même pas la ration alimentaire complète aux personnes, mais même cette ration alimentaire réduite est partagée par les bénéficiaires avec d'autres familles, car ils savent qu'ils n'ont pas d'autre source de revenu," a déclaré l'Orateur Abdallah Alwardat, Directeur Pays du Programme Alimentaire Mondial (PAM) au Soudan.

DR Congo: Ebola outbreak continues to expand, WHO sees signs of stabilization
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), UN health teams and partners are still racing to contain the rapidly expanding Ebola outbreak, despite ongoing insecurity in eastern areas where the virus has taken hold.
