La porte-parole de l'ONU pour les droits de l'homme, Thameen Al Kheetan, parle du traitement réservé au dirigeant palestinien Marwan Barghouthi dans une prison israélienne


Les images vidéo montrant le ministre israélien de la Sécurité nationale, Itamar Ben-Gvir, réprimandant et narguant le leader palestinien Marwan Barghouthi en face-à-face à l'intérieur d'une prison israélienne sont inacceptables. Le comportement du ministre et la publication des images constituent une atteinte à la dignité de Barghouthi,” a déclaré Al-Kheetan.

Le droit international exige que toutes les personnes en détention soient traitées humainement, avec dignité, et que leurs droits humains soient respectés et protégés,” a-t-il déclaré.
