“Les images vidéo montrant le ministre israélien de la Sécurité nationale, Itamar Ben-Gvir, réprimandant et narguant le leader palestinien Marwan Barghouthi en face-à-face à l'intérieur d'une prison israélienne sont inacceptables. Le comportement du ministre et la publication des images constituent une atteinte à la dignité de Barghouthi,” a déclaré Al-Kheetan.
“Le droit international exige que toutes les personnes en détention soient traitées humainement, avec dignité, et que leurs droits humains soient respectés et protégés,” a-t-il déclaré.
“Un tel comportement de la part du ministre responsable du Service pénitentiaire israélien peut encourager la violence contre les détenus palestiniens, permettant des violations des droits humains dans les installations de détention israéliennes.”
