EXTRAIT SONORE (Anglais) : Cosmas Luckyson Zavazava, Directeur du Bureau de Développement des Télécommunications de l'UIT : “À l'échelle mondiale, nos estimations pour 2024 montrent qu'un tiers de l'humanité n'utilise toujours pas Internet, ce qui représente 5,5 milliards de personnes en ligne, soit une augmentation de 227 millions de personnes par rapport à nos estimations révisées pour l'année 2023. On estime que 2,6 milliards de personnes sont hors ligne, en baisse par rapport à l'estimation révisée de 2,8 milliards pour l'année 2023.”

Et certaines technologies peuvent être communautaires pour s'assurer que les communautés ont accès.”
