Le Conseil des droits de l'homme célèbre 20 ans de dialogue et d'engagement pour l'égalité
À Genève, plus de 120 pays se sont réunis lundi pour célébrer les 20 ans du Conseil des droits de l'homme de l'ONU et un engagement commun pour l'égalité, dans un contexte d'instabilité et de conflit mondial croissant.
Reconnaissant l'incertitude géopolitique persistante marquée par les conflits et les guerres à Gaza, au Myanmar, en Ukraine, au Soudan et au-delà, le Secrétaire général António Guterres a exhorté les délégués à maintenir la ligne sur les droits de l'homme, qu'il a averti être sous une « attaque à grande échelle… souvent menée par ceux qui détiennent le plus grand pouvoir ».
