UNDP WMO Weather Kids 21 March 2024

climate change is humanity's most urgent challenge.
Our new report on the state of the global climate showed
that 2023 set new records for every single climate indicator.
We need to find a way
to convince decision makers of the urgency of cutting greenhouse gases emissions.
And that is why we need weather kids as ambassadors for action.
Children are our inspiration,
our hope and our responsibility.
Climate change isn't an abstract or a distant threat.
It's happening right now and everywhere,
and it's impacting our Children's lives in ways that
we may not even realise at the moment.
So we should not forget that first and foremost,
it's our responsibility to give them a safe, healthy and thriving world to live in.

There is the technology exists
the know how exists.
You humans are the most resilient, most incredible species on the planet,
