Oral update of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on the human rights situation in and around El Fasher in Sudan
In its resolution S-38/1 adopted on 14 November 2025 (38th special session), the Human Rights Council requested the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to present an oral update on the human rights situation in and around El Fasher, in the context of the ongoing conflict in the Sudan, to be followed by an interactive dialogue, before its sixty-first session.
