From Somalia to Syria, Pakistan, Madagascar and Yemen, hunger is on the rise. The international armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia has greatly disrupted global food supply systems as well as future harvests.
Presidents of ICRC and IFRC speak to the growing hunger needs they are seeing across the world and make a joint call for urgent action ahead of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Speakers:
- Francesco Rocca, IFRC President
- Peter Maurer, ICRC President
