Manship and originally inaugurated in 1939, to mark 20th anniversary of the League of Nations. Cast in Florence and installed in Geneva, it remains a lasting emblem of international cooperation. The restoration works included: structural restoration, reflecting pool rehabilitation and fitting with natural filtration, repair of the rotation mechanism, conservation of 64 mythological figures, recreation of the celestial map with silver stars, site redesign and fitting of new lighting.
